A new style for our home. Escobal represents a change of generation. From this moment it is no longer our parents or grandparents who planted the vineyard, but we are the ones who started with our first plantations.
Here we see a wine for a new generation, where the fruit concept claims prominence. A natural evolution in our elaborations trying to respond to the style of the new start consumer.
Thus, Escobal becomes our first bet for a different and youthful profile, where fruit, sweetness and respect for the environment are a common priority
- Vineyard: El Escobal, planted in 1997 at 547m above sea level.
- 100% Tempranillo
- Production: 8.425 bottles
- Organic wine
Wine-Making
- Immediate destemming and cold maceration in a carbonic environment, in a stainless steel tank.
- Alcoholic fermentation with light pump-overs, at a maximum temperature of 24ºC, for 14 days.
- Malolactic fermentation and conservation in French oak vat with the corresponding racking until bottling, preceded by gentle filtration.
Tasting notes
- Cherry color with violet reflections.
- On the nose, it brings back memories of ripe red and black fruit, hints of light citrus, flower petals, and a balsamic fragrance.>/li>
- Firm fruity scent.
- On the palate, it is sweet, with great personality and volume, characteristic of more sandy soil. Its stay in a wooden foudre makes it elegant and round.
