London hosts one of the most prestigious awards of Bar and Restaurants architecture and decoration around the world that this year celebrates its tenth edition and which will dictate its resolution next October. The panel of judges that will determine the winners of 2018 is formed by some of the most influential personalities in the world of design, the hospitality sector and “lifestyle”worldwide. The new tastig room from Osatu is a candidate in the category of European Bars and has been designed by View Arkitektura and Verno Consulting Design.
In the Rioja Alavesa town of Samaniego, Ostatu has been renovating its facilities for more than 6 years around the seventeenth-century family home, from which it takes its name. After the opening of their Wine Bar space or the expansion of their elaboration warehouses, their last bet has been the creation of a room oriented to the conservation, exhibition and tasting of old vintages. It has been precisely this new remodeling that has led to be present at the prestigious design and architecture awards for gastronomic venues “Restaurant & Bar Design Awards”
With this new room, Ostatu wanted to value the oldest vintages that they possesses giving them a natural protagonism and propitiating an unbeatable atmosphere so that its visitors can enjoy them.
